The driver clipped a power pole and then hit a fire hydrant. The truck was on top of the hydrant when fire crews arrived on scene.
Fire officials and city crews had a tough time turning the water supply off, with water flowing freely for the better part of an hour.
Water covered Vaughan Avenue from Ethel Street to Richter Street and flowed north down Richter towards Knox Mountain.
There’s no word on if the driver is facing any traffic violation tickets or charges.
