Police believe two separate Islington shootings related

TORONTO – Toronto police will provide an update this afternoon on two shootings at the same building on Islington Ave. earlier this week.

One of the victims has been identified as 22-year-old Malcolm Marfo who died in hospital Thursday.

A man short earlier in the day at the same apartment location has been identified as 21-year-old Ahmed Siyad.

He was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police say the two shootings are connected and are appealing to the public for more information.
