Fire destroys house on Bathurst St. and Ulster St.

TORONTO – Crews have contained a house fire on Bathurst St. and Ulster St. early Monday morning.

Toronto Fire officials say the blaze started around 5 a.m. in the garage area of the home.

Several parked vehicles on the driveway were torched as the flames extended to the house.

All occupants of the residence were able to escape without injuries.

The fire was knocked down around 5:45 a.m.

Bathurst St. was closed between Harbord St. and College St. as crews controlled hot spots but reopened just after 8 a.m.
