Roger Hodgson bringing ‘Breakfast in America’ tour to Canada

TORONTO — Roger Hodgson, co-founder of iconic rock band Supertramp, announced Thursday his Breakfast in America World Tour will stop in eight Canadian cities.

Hodgson, 64, was the voice of Supertramp from 1969 to 1983 and wrote its hits including “The Logical Song,” “Give a Little Bit,” “Dreamer,” “Take the Long Way Home” and “It’s Raining Again.”

The band has sold more than 60 million albums.

Hodgson will perform at Casino Rama in Ontario on Nov. 20 and 21 with an orchestra and then, backed by four musicians, will play Calgary’s Grey Eagle Resort and Casino on Nov. 26, Vancouver’s River Rock Casino Resort and Hotel on Nov. 28, Montreal’s Place des Arts on Dec. 3, Ottawa’s National Arts Centre on Dec. 8, Quebec City’s Grand Theatre on Dec. 9, Moncton’s Casino New Brunswick on Dec. 11 and Halifax’s Casino Nova Scotia on Dec. 12.

Supertramp is also touring this year but has no Canadian dates scheduled.
