SASKATOON – Sentencing has been pushed back for a woman responsible for the deaths of two Saskatoon teens in a motor vehicle crash. Cheyann Peeteetuce was 21 when she was driving a stolen truck that collided with two other vehicles at 22nd Street West and Avenue M in May 2014.
Sarah Wensley and James Haughey, both 17, were killed in the crash. A third person in the car, a girl who was 16 at the time, survived but was seriously injured.

Peeteetuce pleaded guilty to seven charges including two counts of criminal negligence causing death and impaired driving.
Her sentencing was set for Wednesday but has been rescheduled for May 5, exactly one year after the crash. The delay will allow for the completion of pre-sentencing reports.
An 18-year-old woman who was the passenger in the stolen truck was sentenced as a young offender in January to a maximum of three years for her involvement.
