Suspicious man in College Park reported to Saskatoon police

SASKATOON – Police are investigating a report of a suspicious individual approaching a student in Saskatoon’s College Park neighbourhood Tuesday. Three similar incidents involving students were reported by authorities last week.

On Tuesday morning, a 13-year-old girl was walking to school when she was approached by an unknown man in a vehicle at an alleyway near Acadia Drive and 14th Street East.

The man reportedly told the girl to get in the vehicle, she refused and the man threatened her. The student reported the incident to her school and her parents.

He is described as being of First Nations descent, around 26 years old, with a scar on his left cheek, short hair and a goatee.  He was wearing a black jacket with a white stripe and was smoking a cigarette.

The suspect vehicle is described as a black newer model, two-door car with a purple steering wheel.
