EDMONTON – A Red Deer man is facing several charges after RCMP were called to an assault at Central Middle School Thursday afternoon.
RCMP were called to the school just before 2 p.m. on Thursday. There were reports an intoxicated man had entered the school and, when a teacher asked him to leave, punched her.
RCMP say the man walked through the school, pushed another teacher and went into the band room, where staff locked him in.

According to police, the man damaged a window screen to get out through a window and officers found him east of the school.
Tristan Palmer Krahn, 27, was taken into custody and has been charged with:
– Two counts of assault
– Two counts of disturbing the peace
– Break and enter
– Unlawful possession of liquor
Krahn made his first court appearance at court in Red Deer on Friday morning. He will next appear in court on March 13.
