EDMONTON — Edmonton police officers were on scene in the Blue Quill area after a man was found with what appeared to be a gunshot wound late Tuesday morning.
Police were in the area of 112 Street near Saddleback Road where a man was spotted outside with a possible gunshot wound to his leg.
The EPS says he was taken to hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
One woman was taken into custody.
Later Tuesday, police confirmed it was not a gunshot wound, but rather a blunt force trauma wound.
Officers are trying to determine if the injury may have been self-inflicted.
