REGINA – A Regina man is facing several charges after a pair of robberies in the Queen City over the weekend.
On February 27th police were called to a restaurant on the 300 block of Albert Street. It’s alleged the man walked into the business, threatened to spray employees with a corrosive substance, then fled without getting the cash from the till.
A few minutes later, police received a call that a man was robbing a restaurant on the 2700 block of Avonhurst Drive. In this case, it’s alleged the man entered the restaurant with one hand concealed under his clothing and told employees he had a gun. He left the restaurant with some cash.
Cowan made his first court appearance in provincial court on Monday morning.
