Oilers place defenceman Keith Aulie on waivers

EDMONTON — The Edmonton Oilers have placed defenceman Keith Aulie on waivers.

The six-foot-six, 228-pound defenceman had no points and 53 penalty minutes in 18 appearances with the Oilers this season.

He added an assist in eight games with the American Hockey League’s Oklahoma City Barons.

Aulie has four goals, nine assists and 183 penalty minutes in 154 NHL games with Toronto, Tampa Bay and Edmonton.

The Rouleau, Sask., native was selected by the Calgary Flames in the fourth round of the 2007 NHL draft.
