MONTREAL – Local authorities have confirmed the city’s seventh homicide of the year.
A man in his 20’s was shot Thursday night around 10:45 p.m. as he sat inside his car.
It happened in Saint-Michel on Everett street at the corner of second avenue.

At least eight shots were fired to the man’s upper body.
Police are investigating, but do not yet have any suspects in custody.
