A 39-year old Calgary man has been charged in connection with six commercial break and enters in the city dating back to November of 2014. Kevin Sanford, was arrested during a targeted traffic stop in Lethbridge on February 14. A search of his vehicle turned up break-in tools and another search at a southside home resulted in the seizure of property that had been reported stolen the day before. Sanford, formerly of Lethbridge, is facing six counts of commercial break, enter and theft in relation to six break-ins in Lethbridge. An investigation into similar break and enters in other southern Alberta communities is ongoing and more charges are possible.
