MONTREAL — Did you know that the Shriners Hospitals for Children — Canada has been serving children and families for 90 years?
In celebration of the Shriners Hospitals for Children — Canada’s 90th anniversary, special guests were on hand to host a skating party on a one-of-a-kind rink on the current hospital grounds.
The skating rink was a tradition at the hospital in the 1960s and 1970s, until renovation work in the 1980s.
This has been a historic year for the hospital in Montreal, as construction and planning have been ongoing before the hospital’s big move to its new location at the Glen Yards site in the fall of 2015.
On Thursday, it was a celebratory occasion, commemorating the hospital’s 90 years of achievements.
