VANCOUVER – The BC Coroners Service is confirming the body found on a North Shore mountain is that of missing man Liang Jin.
Jin last spoke by text message with his father on the morning of Dec. 31, 2014. In his text, he said he planned to go hiking, but gave no indication where.
He was reported missing to Vancouver Police on Jan. 3 after not having any contact with family or friends. Despite extensive searches of the area, Jin was not located.
