CALGARY – Enmax says power has been fully restored to several northeast neighbourhoods left in the dark after a car crash on Thursday.
It happened at the intersection of Falconridge Boulevard N.E. and Taradale Drive N.E. around 8 p.m.
The truck slammed into a power pole, tearing in half. Despite severe damage done to the truck, the driver was able to escape the vehicle and run from the scene.

Initially, 3,869 customers were without power due to the incident.
However, Enmax crews were able to fix the issue by 10:30 a.m. on Friday.
Police are still searching for the driver responsible for the crash.
