TORONTO – A male construction worker was injured after a hammer hit the back of his neck from about 30 feet at Union Station.

Emergency crews were called to the scene around 2 a.m. and found the man at the bottom of an elevator shaft.
He couldn’t move his arms or legs and Toronto Fire Services had to lower a basket down to rescue him.
There’s no immediate word on his current condition.
