CALGARY – A new developer has stepped forward to take over rebuilding the Kensington Legion.
There were plans to tear down the legion and build a new one on a site – just a bit farther to the west.

New condos and shopping spaces were to go up on the old legion site.
But there was a dispute – over some land and the 1.5 million dollar price tag – so the project was scrapped.
Now the legion’s executives say they’ve reached a new deal with the Truman Development Corporation.
