A 35-year-old woman has died after being struck and killed at King George Boulevard and 79th Avenue in Surrey on Saturday night.
She was crossing the road at about 6 p.m. when she was hit by a car heading south.

She was transported to hospital but later died.
Police say the victim was wearing dark clothing at the time of the accident. An investigation is underway, but it is not believed speed or alcohol played a part.
