PRINCE ALBERT, Sask. – A man has been charged with attempted murder after two people were stabbed in Prince Albert, Sask. It happened Sunday afternoon in the 1400-block of 28th Street East.
Police were originally called out for a disturbance complaint. While on their way to the call, officers were informed that a man had just stabbed two people.
Arriving officers located the suspect and took him into custody without incident.
The two stabbing victims, a 60-year-old woman and a 58-year-old man, were able to drive themselves to hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

Along with attempted murder charges, a 24-year-old man is also facing aggravated assault, possession of a dangerous weapon and breach of probation charges. His name has not been released.
He is scheduled to make his first court appearance Tuesday in Prince Albert provincial court.
