Saskatoon police investigating Pleasant Hill shooting

SASKATOON – Police are investigating a second shooting Monday in Saskatoon, this one in the Pleasant Hill neighbourhood. It took place just before 9 p.m. at an apartment building in the 300-block of Avenue R South.

Police say several people confronted a man in one of the suites. He refused to allow them in and slammed the door shut.

Seconds later, a shot-gun was fired through the door with pellets penetrating into the suite. No one was injured.

Police believe the shooting was not a random act.

Video surveillance shows at least five people were involved. No other details or description of the suspects is currently available.
