PRINCE ALBERT, Sask. – A youth is facing charges after a vehicle was stolen from an industrial compound in Prince Albert, Sask. Police were called to a break and enter in the 3900-block of 5th Avenue East at around 9:05 p.m. Friday.

The stolen vehicle was located, but the driver refused to pull over for police and drove north across the city’s bridge.

The driver abandoned the vehicle and fled into the bush area near Hazeldell. Police dog Jagger was brought in and tracked down the youth.

The accused is now facing charges of break and enter, theft of vehicle and failure to stop for police. He has been remanded in custody and will appear in provincial court Monday.
