RCMP and Langley Township firefighters are investigating a 2-alarm fire that destroyed a home in Aldergrove early Friday morning.
Flames broke out at a house on 43rd Avenue near 274th Street just after 1 a.m. Because of the remote location, firefighters had to shuttle water to take out the blaze.

There is no word yet if anyone was home at the time the fire started or if there are any injuries.
Damage to the home is extensive. Part of the roof has collapsed and a large part of the structure has been reduced to ashes.
The cause of the fire has not been determined yet.
