WINNIPEG-City crews are working to repair a water main break in Transcona, forcing some homes to have brown water flowing from their taps.

A city spokesperson tells Global News that, “water system repairs can stir up the sediment at the bottom of the mains and can cause discoloured water for some properties.”

The water main repairs are being done at Panet Road and Fournier Street. The city says the discoloured water isn’t expected to last long.
