Okanagan forecast: Cloudy on Thursday, Flurries on Thursday night

Weather update: Wednesday January 14th 4:15pm

Changes are coming late in the day on Thursday. A system is lined up over the Pacific and when our upper ridge breaks down, it will start to move inland. By Thursday evening, many of us in the BC Southern Interior will see flurries.

Chances are most of us will wake up to a trace to 3cm on Friday morning. And that is just the first wave, as multiple systems will move inland through the weekend bringing us waves of precipitation.

As freezing levels rise, the possibility of a rain/snow mix is in the forecast for Sunday.

Details coming up at 5, 6:30 and 11pm!

Thursday ‘s daytime high range: -2 to +3C
