EDMONTON – The Edmonton Eskimos have added to their depth at quarterback with the signing of a former Heisman Trophy finalist.
Jordan Lynch, 24, has signed with the Esks after spending four seasons at Northern Illinois. During his college career Lynch racked up 6,209 passing yards, 51 touchdowns, and 14 interceptions, and was nominated as a Heisman Trophy finalist in 2013.

He also rushed for 4,343 yards and 48 touchdowns.
Lynch becomes the sixth quarterback on the organization’s roster, which includes last year’s starter Mike Reilly and backup Matt Nichols.
