TORONTO – A Toronto pastor has been arrested following a sexual assault investigation and police believe there may be more victims.
Paul David Melnichuk, 81, faces five counts of sexual assault involving two female members of his congregation.
It is alleged the two women, one in her 40s and another under the age of 20, were assaulted on more than one occasion inside the Prayer Palace Church located at 1111 Arrow Road near Finch Avenue West and Highway 400.
Police say Melnichuk was alone with the women when the assaults took place between May 1 and Sept. 12, 2014.
Anyone with information regarding this case is urged to call police.
