BASS RIVER, N.B. – RCMP are searching for a suspect who left the scene of a fatal crash in eastern New Brunswick.
Police say a vehicle was driving on Route 116 in Bass River around 4 a.m. Thursday when it collided with a pickup truck that was possibly attempting to pull out of a driveway.
Police say the driver of the vehicle, a 19-year-old man from Bass River, died at the scene.
The vehicle’s passengers, two young men ages 19 and 20, were taken to hospital with critical injuries.
The Mounties say the driver of the pickup truck left the scene of the crash.
Police say the pickup truck had been stolen from a business on Route 126 in the Indian Mountain area.
