Police identify the man wanted in a sexual assault in Brentwood

CALGARY – The Calgary Police Service is asking for the public’s help finding a man wanted for a sexual assault in Brentwood last week.

On December 26, a woman was leaving the Brentwood LRT station when she noticed a man walking behind her.

He grabbed the woman from behind, dragged her to a nearby alley and pushed her to the ground, hitting her in the head.

She screamed loudly, fought back and eventually got away.

26-year-old Andrew Holloway is now wanted on charges of sexual assault, common assault and uttering threats.

He is described as 6′ tall with a heavy build. He was wearing a dark-coloured jacket, a hoodie pulled over his head and dark pants.

Police say Holloway could be in either the Morley or Calgary areas.
