WADENA, Sask. – Police in Saskatchewan are still looking for an alleged sex offender. An arrest warrant has been issued for Vincent Desjarlais and Wadena Mounties believe he could be in Saskatchewan or Manitoba.
Desjarlais, 48, was charged in June after police received a complaint from a heath care worker that a girl under the age of 16 had been sexually assaulted the previous month. He is charged with sexual assault, sexual interference of a person under the age of 16, procuring a miscarriage and assault.
Mounties have been looking for him since then and believe he is attempting to evade them. Desjarlais has connections to the Long Plain First Nation in Manitoba, and the Punnichy, Yellow Quill First Nation, Regina and Saskatoon in Saskatchewan, but police say he could be anywhere in either province.

Desjarlais is five-foot 10-inches, around 175 pounds with black hair that may be in a pony tail, brown eyes and numerous tattoos.
