Lower Sackville, N.S. – A 40-year-old man is in police custody Saturday afternoon after RCMP responded to a weapons complaint in Lower Sackville, outside Halifax.
At 11:00 a.m., a woman called police to say she had gone to a residence on Sackville Cross Road and had a gun pointed at her.

RCMP and a Halifax Regional Police K9 member arrived at the home and blocked off a portion of the street.
Officers were seen with their weapons drawn, as they surrounded the home.
The suspect surrendered to police and was taken into custody.
Police say the man and woman know each other, and the matter is now under investigation by the Integrated RCMP/HRP General Investigation Section.
