REGINA – Two alleged fraudsters are facing several charges after a string of thefts from hotel rooms around southern Saskatchewan.
The Regina Police were contacted by Moose Jaw Police and warned about possible suspects who committed frauds in Friendly City hotels.
Moose Jaw police got evidence that the suspects were possibly at a hotel in Regina’s Harbour Landing. When Regina police went to the hotel they found a 35-year-old man and a 33-year-old woman.
Police discovered the man was wanted on a Canada wide warrant for Breach of Statutory Release. There were also outstanding warrants against the man from Melville and Esterhazy.
Tyler Curtis Gurskey, 35, and Jennifer Woodford, 33, are both facing charges including Fraud Under $5,000, Theft Under $5,000, Possession of Stolen Property Under $5,000, Forgery, and Uttering a Forged Document.
Both made their first court appearance on Wednesday morning.
