SASKATOON – A police officer deployed his conducted energy weapon (CEW) at a break and enter in progress just after midnight Saturday. An unknown man reportedly kicked in the front door of a home in Saskatoon’s Pleasant Hill neighbourhood, with five teenagers and two children inside.
When the officer arrived at 137 Avenue U South, he encountered the suspect at the front door. The suspect fought with the officer and managed to retreat back into the home while the residents were still inside.
