Saskatoon Silver Springs D'arcy hande Green Party-  D’Arcy Hande is a retired archivist, who has lived and worked in Saskatoon for over 30 years. He grew up in a small town in eastern Saskatchewan, then attended the Universities of Regina and Saskatchewan.  

D’Arcy is married with two adult daughters.

 Cindy SherbanNew Democratic Party (NDP)- Cindy Lee Sherban was selected as the NDP candidate at a nomination meeting in Saskatoon on Oct. 30, 2010. Sherban is a registered nurse, registered psychiatric nurse and nurse educator. She holds diplomas in psychiatric and general nursing, a bachelor of science in nursing from the University of Saskatchewan and a master of adult education from St. Francis Xavier University in Nova Scotia. She has almost thirty years of experience as a registered nurse including with Correctional Services Canada where she was the recipient of the Exemplary Service Medal. She has also worked at the Dubé Centre in the Saskatoon Health Region and taught nursing in the Second Degree Entry Option in the Nurse Education Program of Saskatchewan. Sherban is a past president of the Registered Psychiatric Nurses’ Association of Saskatchewan and currently sits on the board of directors of the Saskatoon Public Library. She is also a member of the Canadian Federation of University Women, the Business and Professional Women’s Club of Saskatoon, the Nutana Rotary Club and has volunteered in the past with READ Saskatoon. Cindy has lived in the Saskatoon Silver Springs constituency for the past 21 years.  

Saskatchewan Liberal Party- Rod Stoesz is a computer technician. 

 Ken CheveldayoffSaskatchewan Party- (Incumbent) Ken Cheveldayoff graduated high school in his hometown of Blaine Lake, Saskatchewan, He then attended three universities, receiving a B.A. (Honours) in Economics and Political Science in 1988 and a Masters of Business Administration in 1996. 

Prior to being elected he worked with Western Economic Diversification assisting individual businesses and industries to grow and expand. He has been an active member of the Saskatoon community through service with the Children’s Health Foundation, the Saskatoon Chamber of Commerce, the North Saskatoon Business Association, and the Provincial Exporters Association.

Cheveldayoff was first elected as MLA for Saskatoon Silver Springs in 2003 and won again in 2007. After his re-election in 2007 and the formation of the first Saskatchewan Party government, he was privileged to serve as Minister of Crown Corporations. In May 2009, he became Minister of Enterprise, Minister Responsible for SaskEnergy and Minister Responsible for Trade. Following Premier Brad Wall’s June 2010 cabinet shuffle, he served as the Minister of First Nations and Métis Relations, Minister responsible for Northern Affairs, and Minister responsible for Saskatchewan Gaming Corporation.  

He and his wife Trish Cheveldayoff, a professional television broadcaster, have two children.
