Tearrius George re-signs with the Riders

REGINA – The Saskatchewan Roughriders have re-signed international defensive tackle Tearrius George to a contract extension.

George will enter his fifth season with the Riders after signing with the team as a free agent in 2011.

The 32 year-old was named a West Division All-Star for the second straight season after having a career high 37 defensive tackles and 12 quarterback sacks.

George currently sits 11th on the Riders all-time quarterback sack list with 31.
