A pilot is safe after crash-landing his small plane at the Pitt Meadows airport, according to the RCMP.
The small Cessna-type aircraft crashed-landed just off the float plane ramp in the taxiway at the Pitt Meadows airport. Before fire and ambulance crews arrived, the male pilot and sole occupant of the plane, managed to get out safely. He was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police said it is currently unclear what caused the crash.
