WATCH: Four white lion cubs born at wildlife park in Australia

TORONTO – The world’s endangered white lion population just got a huge boost with the birth of four cute, and cuddly, cubs at Altina Wildlife Park in Australia.

The park introduced the cubs Thursday, both in-person and via social media, to the delight of thousands.

“When we checked again later we found four beautiful white little cubbies.”

The two female and two male unnamed youngsters are already very playful.

The park is now in the midst of auctioning the naming rights to the cubs.

“All funds raised by auctioning off the naming rights will go directly back into our white lion breeding program,” Surian told told The Area News.

“The money is totally for the lions – vet bills, dentists, worming and of course food.”

It’s estimated that there are currently 300 white lions in existence. Altina’s cubs have increased the global population by just over one percent.
