Pedestrian hit by car in downtown core

CALGARY – A pedestrian was struck by a car in the city’s downtown core on Friday.

It happened just before 7 a.m. in the area of 3rd Street and 8th Avenue S.W.

Police say the female victim was conscious and breathing when they arrived on scene, and suffered only minor injuries.
