Brad Wall says if the Sask Party is re-elected, the school year will start after the Labour Day long weekend.

Wall says it’s a change many have asked for.
“In a recent study by Tourism Saskatchewan, 60 per cent of tourism-related businesses say their businesses suffers from students starting the school year before Labour Day,” Wall said in a statement. “It messes up the last long weekend of the summer for families who are camping or vacationing.”
“Many parents have also told me they would like to see the school year start right after Labour Day.”
Wall says the change will be in place for the start of the 2012-13 school year.
