The 18-year-old victim filed a complaint with police on April 22 about the incident, which she said had occurred a week earlier. She was being prepared to undergo surgery when a witness reported he saw an assisting patient attendant touch her.
Christopher Goreham, 43, from Lower Prospect, N.S. was arrested on Tuesday after he turned himself in to police, and is scheduled to appear in Halifax provincial court.
