CALGARY – A man was found dead in Kananaskis Country on Saturday.
Cpl. John Spaans with K Division said conservation officers found the man at Grizzly Creek Trail.
The man was from southern Alberta, and in his 40s.

Spaans said the man appeared to be an experienced hiker prepared for the weather, but the heavy, waist-deep snow could have been a factor.
The cause of death has not been determined, but exposure, exhaustion or medical factors are possible causes.
The death is now under investigation by Calgary’s medical examiner.
