TORONTO – Toronto District School Board trustees have voted to go ahead with a controversial playing field at Central Tech High School.
The current trustees just a have a few days left before their term expires but they voted it through last night.

The project would see Razor Management operate the $6 million project which includes a running track, FIFA-grade artificial turf, and a dome which would cover the playing surface several months of the year.
The existing field was closed after it tested positive for soil contamination.
