MERRITT — This BC Day Long weekend concert goers in Merritt will enjoy the country musical stylings of Nashville star Dierks Bently. Bently was announced as the first headliner for the Rockin’ River Musicfest.
For the past six years the music festival was held in Mission, B.C., but in mid-October organizers announced it would be moving to Merritt.

“This is our first major announcement for 2015, but there’s more to come,” says festival president, Kenny Hess. “We’re talking with several other big-name acts for Rockin’ River. We want country music fans from all over B.C. to come join us in our new location, on our new dates, and see what the new-and-improved Rockin’ River Musicfest Merritt 2015 has to offer everyone.”
