TORONTO – A female pedestrian is dead after being struck by a vehicle in North York early Friday morning.
The incident happened at the intersection of Finch Avenue West and Driftwood Avenue.
Toronto EMS say the victim in her 30s was pronounced dead on scene.
Toronto police say the driver of the vehicle was taken to hospital as a precaution.

The intersection was closed to traffic for several hours but has since been reopened.
