Ward 3 residents have a new city councillor to represent them at City Hall.
Ann Iwanchuk was given the nod in the by-election held Wednesday to replace the seat left vacant after Moe Neault died suddenly in July.

The unofficial results had Iwanchak receiving 33 per cent of the vote, followed by Mike San Miguel with 25 per cent and Derek Rope with 17 per cent.
Iwanchuk knows she has big shoes to fill and is ready to jump in feet first with her first council meeting on Monday and budget deliberations next month.
Voter turnout was only 15.8 per cent.
