Maron says marijuana and other non-prescription drugs were also found inside the vehicle, although he could not say how much. Police also seized a pair of brass knuckles.
GHB, commonly referred to as the ‘date rape’ drug, may make people feel relaxed, euphoric or sleep. It may also cause people to lose their inhibitions. Effects may be felt within 10 and 20 minutes of ingestion.
Police say the street value of the drugs was more than $21,000.
Maron says a man and a woman have been charged in connection with the incident.
