SASKATOON – Two men are in custody and a cab driver is recovering from a stab wound after an overnight armed robbery in Saskatoon.
Police say two men got into the taxi in the 100-block of 33rd Street West around 3 a.m.

One was armed with scissors while the other had a multi-tool.
They demanded cash from the driver, who was then stabbed in the head with the scissors.
The cabbie was able to escape and contact police. He suffered minor injuries and did not require medical care.
The suspects were still at the scene when officers arrived.
They were arrested and will appear in provincial court on Friday charged with armed robbery.
