TORONTO – The Occupy Toronto protest is gaining more support
as one of the largest unions in Ontario throws their support behind the Occupy
Canada protests.
Showing their support for the Occupy Wall Street and Occupy Toronto protests, The Ontario Public Service Employees Union (OPSEU) is
offering to feed all the occupiers at St. james Park with a vegetarian meal on
Thursday.

The support from OPSEU comes the day after protestors
snarled traffic at Yonge/Dundas Square during rush hour.
OPSEU has also set up the website supporttheoccupation.ca in
roder to rally people to join the Occupy movement.
In a letter on the supporttheoccupation.ca website, Warren
Thomas, President of the Ontario Public Service Employees Union, says the Occupy movement is “calling for real solutions to the real problems of real people
– problems like poverty.Joblessness. Homelessness. Hopelessness.”
