Calgary and Edmonton make list of top cities for sugar daddies

Calgary and Edmonton have both made the list of the top 25 cities in North America for sugar daddies in a survey by an online dating site.

In the rankings from the website Seeking Arrangement, Edmonton takes the number 15 spot with nearly five sugar daddies per 1,000 men, while Calgary comes in at number 19 with almost four sugar daddies per 1,000 men.

Vancouver ranks number two, making it the sugar daddy capital of Canada.

The dating site hooks up “sugar babies” with older “sugar daddies.”

The website defines a sugar daddy as “a successful and generous man willing to provide financial assets to a young and ambitious sugar  baby in return for companionship.”

The survey reveals the average age for a sugar daddy in Calgary using the Seeking Arrangement site is 39 with a net worth of around $4.2 million. It says about 27 per cent of sugar daddies in Calgary  are married.
