TORONTO – Police are searching for three suspects following a robbery in Toronto’s Kensington Market area Thursday morning.
Police say two women were allegedly hit in the head with a rock while walking near the College and Major Street area and robbed just before 3 a.m.
The suspects reportedly grabbed the women’s purses and stole their personal belongings.
Police say one of the women was also dragged on the lawn in front of a home.
The suspects then fled the scene on foot.
Police say two other women were approached by three men at Spadina and College following the incident and were harassed.
The suspects are described as black and dressed in dark clothing.
