BOUCHERVILLE, Que. – Hardware retailer Rona is recalling a series of Uberhaus shelters that are sold at its stores over concerns the fabric could tear and cause injuries or property damage.

The retailer says the recall affects Uberhaus car shelters, winter shelters and vestibule shelters sold at both Reno-Depot and Rona stores in Quebec, Ontario and the Atlantic provinces.
The problem is related to the assembly process which can cause tears in the fabic, Rona says.
The Uberhaus shelters were sold after Aug. 25.
